Guernsey Born & Brewed

Going to the shop here was like an adult sweetshop with over 200 beers to choose from and a seasonal rotation to boot. Having grown up in Guernsey during the domination of Breda I was amazed to see so much choice and actual flavour!!  I started brewing in my university dorm and was guided by a former brewer in the art. Moving back to Guernsey I started as a junior brewer with a small craft brewery, working my way through courses and learning the trade on the job.

2020 saw the start of Little Big Brew Co, Charlie had approached Gareth and myself to start up Little Big Brew Co. We started production back in 2020 with 3 core beers. Since then we’ve evolved some of our original 3 recipes and introduced some new bolder lines.

Mainsail was initially introduced in 2022 and was a brew I had designed for my wedding (I Do Brew), the team liked it so much that we decided to bring into the lineup full time! Breaker is our newest beer, a crisp clean Helles style lager, designed after my visit to the beer halls of Munich with my wife Steffi on our honeymoon (her idea honest!!). Zero Knots was inspired by calm flat days looking out from the office here on St.Georges Esplanade, the illustration is inspired by the north cardinal marker from the mouth of QE2.
